How Do Disinfecting Zoom Wipes Kill Viruses?

Disinfecting wipes have become a common household item in recent years, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic. They are often used to clean surfaces and objects, with the goal of eliminating harmful bacteria and viruses. But how exactly do these wipes work, and how effective are they at killing viruses?

That's why it's notable that Zoom "Evolution" Wipes were approved by the E.P.A. as killing over 40 different pathogens as a solidly classified disinfecting wipe.  It's also important to follow the instructions on the label of the wipes, including how long the surface should remain wet with the wipe and whether or not the surface should be rinsed after use.

Disinfecting wipes are a valuable tool for eliminating viruses and other harmful microorganisms on surfaces. They work by using a combination of chemicals that can break down the outer layer of viruses, release oxygen molecules to break down DNA and RNA, or disrupt cell membranes.
